Hospital Corpsmen for logs, records, and directive administration

Most of the jobs of the Hospital Corpsman were actually within a clinical setting. However, a hospital corpsman had jobs all over the Navy. They were assigned to ships, Marines, battalions, as well as administrative work and reports.

Corpsmen also took on responsibilities of logs, records, and directives

Maintaining various logs, records, and directives were also equally important. They are in charge of computer data for command use.

Maintenance of these logs and preparation of reports and management are found in the Manual of the Medical Department, NAVMED P-117 and BUMEDINST 5210.9 series, Forms and Reports Management Program.
